In an interview with Prof. Gabriel Barbash, CEO of Psifas, the article describes how the use of NovaSeq X systems enables Psifas to sequence tens of thousands of genomes with high quality, speed, and operational efficiency – supporting a large-scale national clinical-genomic research infrastructure built on longitudinal data.
The combination of lower sequencing costs and high sequencing depth has enabled Psifas to conduct large-scale research on actionable genes, identify clinically significant findings, and return results to participants – including the provision of genetic counseling when relevant.
This capability translates into clear value for researchers: accelerated genomic research, improved diagnostic precision, and a direct connection between advanced research and clinical impact.
